About Us

“Labour Pride: What our unions have done for us.”

The story of LGBTIQ workers in the trade union movement is as old as the early days of union organizing.—This booklet offers a brief account of the role of workers & unions in supporting lesbian & gay rights in Canada from 1970 to 2000.—It is our great hope that this booklet be a source of inspiration & that it leads to a greater understanding of where unions fit in today’s society.—Please download & share.
